For Document and URL lessons, we've added the ability to turn on a system-wide declaration. When your users complete these types of lessons, they'll be asked to declare that they have read and understood the content.

You can turn this on/off for all Document Lessons and URL Lessons at one flick of a switch!

Assess peoples skills and set what skill level is needed for specific roles whilst giving people clear targets of what skills to work on. Central teams will be able to identify skill gaps and define the required level needed for core skills vs additional skills people wish to develop

These question types will enable you to build comparison grids across these criteria.  You will start to be able to identify those individuals who are possible talent risks, consistent performers and stars within your business.  

In addition, you will be able to cross correlate behaviour against performance.  Identifying those individuals who are performing well but at the cost of others through their behaviour can also be shown.

A new course which covers the updates to the Employment Rights Act in April 2026. These changes affect how managers handle absence, leave and employee rights. Managers need to understand what has changed and how this affects everyday decisions in the workplace.

This course explains the key changes, why they matter, and how to apply them consistently and fairly in line with current expectations, using realistic situations that managers may face. You'll build skills in decision-making, accountability and communication.

Dynamic access to Reporting

We've added a new option under Platform Settings to hide inactive users in search results from Managers and Employees. This helps ensure inactive users are less discoverable by non-Admins. Learn more

Powerful insights come from having all your data in one place. This is particularly true for L&D, where the goal is to drive efficiency and performance across your entire organisation.

We're building a Data Extraction API so you can pull Learn reporting data out of Kallidus and into your own centralized data store or BI tool of choice. From there, you can merge Kallidus data with data from other sources to generate multidimensional insights that will prove and improve the value of your L&D programmes.

Data extraction API for Learn

We've introduced a new report that surfaces upcoming changes and pending approvals, enabling your People teams to audit and plan ahead. 

The report will also work hand-in-hand with the upcoming Sapling Role Change workflow.

A new section within the review form which can be added.  This section enables both the reviewer and reviewee to record actions at the end of the review. 

It also includes generative AI to help suggest actions based on the review outcomes.  

This new functionality supports both managers and reviewees at the most crucial stage of the review, taking stock of the last period and planning actions moving forward.

We've added the ability to show document descriptions in the notification to all assignees. This improves your employee onboarding experience by providing clarity on the contents of each document - and you can also use it to include key instructions! Learn more

This piece of functionality uses AI to recommend courses using a clustering algorithm.  In short, it uses similarity features to recommend courses to an individual based on their similarity to someone else who has completed learning that this person has not.

Recommending in this way means people get intelligent and refined recommendations which grow over time.

We've introduced a new dashboard to make it easier to get an overview of your system. When you click Manage Users, you'll now be taken to a new dashboard page. You'll be able to see the number of:

We have added two new settings that enable you to require a declaration for document and URL lessons. 

When enabled, opening a document or URL lesson will not automatically change the status to 'complete'. Instead, it will remain 'In Progress' until the learner clicks the checkbox to acknowledge that the document has been read or the URL lesson has been viewed, which will then change the status to 'Complete'.
